Even though you might have heard of people using two-way radios when camping in the past, you might assume that this is an outdated option. Nowadays, you might assume that your cell phone will make it easy for you to communicate with the others who are going camping with you. However, a two-way radio can be a much better choice. These are a few reasons why you should consider relying on two-way radios rather than cell phones on your camping trip.

1. You Don't Have to Worry About Signal Loss

Even if you think that you will have perfect cell phone reception while you're on your trip, you might be surprised by what you find when you hit the camping site or the hiking trails. Once you head out into nature, there is a good chance that your phone might have spotty reception. If your phone works well, then your traveling companions might have trouble with their phones, too.
